WELCOME
The Kibale EcoHealth Project is a long-term study of health and ecology in the region of Kibale National Park, Uganda. By combining approaches from the biological and social sciences, the project strives to discover how anthropogenic changes to ecosystems alter health-related outcomes and infectious disease dynamics in people, wildlife, and domestic animals. The Kibale EcoHealth Project is dedicated to building capacity for research, education, and outreach in disease ecology and ecosystem health.
The goal of the Kibale EcoHealth Project is to protect the health and wellbeing of people, wildlife, and domestic animals while conserving the ecosystems we share.
